Oh my goodness! I second guess myself so much... this painting, was one of the first 3 waves I have ever painted. In fact it's titled "Third Wave" .. I know, super creative 😅.. Well this one always felt wonky to me.. something about the composition, to me, was off.   So then the thoughts of should I paint over it? There were yummy parts of the painting that I didn't want to lose.. so what to do? Gah! Then I sat down and began to use some color to highlight my favorite bits and hide the bits that were throwing me off.  Learning to follow my gut has been a big part of my creative journey.  I still fight the fear of "Ruining it" .. But look! It didn't ruin it at all! In fact it has the beauty of what I knew 8 years ago, combined with what I know now 🥰 so... this piece is now titled: "Third Wave + Bouquet Wave Too" .. honoring the beginning and embracing the now.
